Dr. Charles N. Burns, Jr. has lived in Wyoming Valley since childhood. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, and the University of Scranton, he earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He completed a residency training program in General Surgery and Urology at Geisinger Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Reconstructive Urology at the Graduate School of Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk Virginia. Board certified in Urology, he is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr Burns treats medical and surgical diseases of the urinary tract. He lives in Kingston Township with his wife Sheila. The have four children and six grandchildren.
